Licence & Rental Documentation

Please read and understand the following information to ensure a smooth handover when collecting your rental motorhome.

Driving Licence

We will need to take a photocopy of your driving licence on the day of collection so please bring this with you. It must be in date and display your current home address.

Driver Check Code

You will need to generate a driver check code through the government website so we can check your licence history. Please note that if you have 6 or more points on your licence we will need to refer you to our insurers. If this is the case then please notify us at least 72 hours before your collection.

Please bring your code with you on the day of your collection. 

Proof of Address 

We require TWO separate proofs of address. This is a mandatory requirement of our insurers. Both documents must be dated within 90 days of the first day of your hire period.


You must provide either one primary address or one primary and one secondary from the following list  


  • Water
  • Gas
  • Broadband/Landline
  • Council tax
  • Bank statement
  • Credit card bill/statement
  • Mortgage statement
  • Polling card
  • HMRC self-assessment / tax credit


  • Student loan
  • Shotgun licence
  • Payslip
  • Mobile phone bill
  • Pension letters
  • Car finance statement
  • Loan statement
  • Property deed

Please note that no other proofs of address can be accepted. 


We understand that nowadays most households accept paperless copies of their utilities bills and statements, which can make it difficult to acquire the appropriate documentation for your hire. 

You can obtain a digital version (PDF) of your bill/statement through your provider’s account online or via their app.
